Agreement
By using Human Hub (the Service) you agree to these Terms. The Service is operated by Melmiztonian LLC (we, us). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
What the Service does
Human Hub is a personal-CRM app that helps you keep track of the people in your life: contacts, check-ins, follow-ups, birthdays, memories. You give it data; it organizes and reminds you about that data. That is the whole product.
Your account
- You sign in with Google or Apple. We do not manage passwords.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in account secure. If you lose access to your Google or Apple ID, you may lose access to your Human Hub account. Email hey@hellomelmo.com and we will help where we can, but we cannot recover your authentication for you.
- You must be 13 or older to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's consent.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to store data about people without their knowledge or consent (including sensitive info such as health or financial data about other people without their permission).
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract other users' data or our service infrastructure.
- Spam, harass, or otherwise misuse our voice command feature to abuse our LLM provider.
- Build a competing service with data extracted from Human Hub.
- Use the Service for anything illegal where you live.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We will try to notify you first when we can.
Your content
You own everything you put into Human Hub. We do not claim any ownership over your contacts, notes, photos, or any other content. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content back to you so the Service can function. We do not use your content for training AI models or any other purpose beyond running the Service.
Service availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uptime, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that all features will work perfectly all the time. We will do our best to give advance notice of major outages or changes.
Backups
We back up the database daily. We do not promise specific recovery time objectives. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose. Use the in-app "Export My Data" feature in Settings (tap your profile card at the top) to download a JSON copy.
Costs
Human Hub has a free tier and paid tiers (currently: monthly Pro, annual Pro, and Lifetime). Paid tiers are sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system; pricing is shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled in your iPhone Settings (Apple ID > Subscriptions). Lifetime is a one-time purchase. Restore prior purchases by tapping "Restore" on the Pro upgrade screen.
Refunds are handled by Apple per Apple's refund policy.
If we change pricing or add new paid features, current paid subscribers will keep their existing rate until they cancel or change tiers.
Third-party services
We use third-party providers to deliver the Service: Supabase (hosting, database, file storage), Anthropic (voice command parsing), RevenueCat (subscription management on top of Apple In-App Purchase), Sentry (crash and error reporting in Release builds), Google and Apple (sign-in). They have their own terms; by using Human Hub you acknowledge that data processed by these providers is governed by their respective agreements.
Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. Open Settings, tap your profile card at the top, then "Delete All Data" at the bottom to remove your account and data.
We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if continuing to operate the Service for you becomes commercially or legally impractical.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided WITHOUT WARRANTIES of any kind. Melmiztonian LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months.
Changes to these terms
We will post updates to this page and adjust the Last updated date. Material changes will be surfaced in-app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
